Welcome to the Yukos in the Netherlands website, an online resource that covers the various legal proceedings that have involved Yukos’ management as they worked to protect the company’s Dutch and other non-Russian assets.

The Russian authorities initiated sham bankruptcy proceedings against Yukos in 2006. The legal battle then moved outside of Russia. As the number of different legal cases increased, the battle quickly became more complex.
